Welcome to Busby & Clarkston Horticultural Society

The Busby and Clarkston Horticultural Society is a gardening club for all who enjoy growing and learning about plants through the activities of its members.

While we like to encourage best practice, the accent is always on fun, interest, knowledge and camaraderie. Where possible, we also become involved in community projects.

We organise visits to places of horticultural interest, an exciting range of Winter Lectures by knowledgeable speakers, pot plant competitions, social events and, of course, the Annual Flower Show, held in Clarkston Halls on the first Saturday of September each year.

There is a current membership of around 250 with an organising committee of 24. It is the Committee’s aim and objective to build on this solid base and to be forward-looking in addressing any issues that would be beneficial to both the Society and the local area. We actively encourage feedback from members and all ideas and comments are considered and acted upon where feasible.

Here is your opportunity to join the Society and participate in the activities…….even serve as a member of the Committee! The cost of annual membership is only £4 per person and represents excellent value for money in the benefits and enjoyment gained. So why not just take a minute or so to complete the Membership Application Form and send it off today.
