Welcome to Busby and Clarkston Horticultural Society
The Busby and Clarkston Horticultural Society is a gardening club for all who enjoy growing and learning about plants through the activities of its members.
While we like to encourage best practice, the accent is always on fun, interest, knowledge and camaraderie. Where possible, we also become involved in community projects such as planting up Clarkston Station and involving the local Scout Troop in our Flower Show.
We organise visits to places of horticultural interest, an exciting range of Winter Talks by knowledgeable speakers, pot plant competitions, social events and, of course, the Annual Flower Show, held in Clarkston Halls on the first Saturday of September each year. Our Talks are free and open to non-members, we will be happy to see new faces.
Here is your opportunity to join the Society and participate in the activities, even serve as a member of the Committee! The cost of annual membership is only £5.00 per person and represents excellent value for money in the benefits and enjoyment gained. So why not just take a minute or so to get in touch either through Facebook or phone Fergus Cumming on 07746 076585 for further information.
